Experience shows that this little stations should be designed as open buildings in continuation of the public spaces they are involved, bays and platforms as a continuation of the pavement and the road. A big shelter that could house the main services the passengers need.
Taking into account the size of the site the station has been built parallel to Avenida de Almería, the road through which buses will arrive. However the access to bays is in the opposite side to improve the transit of buses on arrivals and departures. Above the big shade structure has been designed eight bays in an angle of 45 degrees with access in clockwise direction. Thanks to these rules the platforms are longer and more comfortable for the passengers.
A linear-closed building house the services of the station: a waiting area, in visual contact with the platforms, ticket offices, luggage lockers, toilets and cafeteria, in relation with the waiting area. Cafeteria can operate regardless of station opening hours.
